My Must Haves
Hello Everybody!
If you know me, you know that I love reading blogs, and watching YouTube videos! Part of the reason I enjoy them so much is because I love to see what items people love, and what works for them. There are so many different products out there, sometimes it can be overwhelming deciding what to get. Since I love seeing other peoples "must haves" I figured I would put a list together of my own!
How I determined my Must Haves:
1. Do I use these items almost everyday
2. Would I recommend them to somebody else
3. Would I re-purchase these items
Since I wrote this post over the weekend, I'll start with my weekend must haves!
Since I work a Monday-Friday job, I definitely like to be more relaxed on the weekends! Some of my must have staple items, that I think everybody should have in their closet, are a decent sized tote, a comfortable (and stylish) pullover that will look good with anything, and a pair of shoes you can easily slip on, yet will match most staple items!
I find myself wearing outfits like this most weekends. They are so comfortable, yet you still feel put together! My Adidas's are definitely my weekend go to shoes. They are so comfortable, and match most things in my closet. I love that I can dress them up, or down! My favorite store to get workout/lounge clothes at recently has actually been Old Navy! They have such cute/affordable items, I definitely would recommend checking it out!
I have wanted this Marc Jacobs tote for so long, and I finally gave in and bought it. I do NOT regret a thing. I am obsessed with it. It's the perfect size to hold all of my stuff!
Now onto my favorite part, my makeup must haves! I seriously watch so many YouTube videos, and read so many reviews on makeup. It's definitely a guilty pleasure of mine! I like to switch up my foundations, powder, eyeliner, mascara, and eyebrow pencils A LOT so I figured I'd leave those out of here. These are products I'm obsessed with & would recommend everybody to get.
These products are seriously my ride or dies, and I will explain why!
Magic in the Air: My mom got me this lotion (and body spray) for Christmas, and it is the best scented lotion I have ever had. It has such a beautiful scent, but it is not too overwhelming. I hope it's not a seasonal scent, because I use it everyday, and definitely want to re-purchase it.
Neutrogena Face Wipes: I have extremely sensitive skin, and I have never had a problem with these. They take your makeup off so gently, and leave my skin feeling clean/amazing. My nightly routine includes; face wipes, exfoliator, and lotion. It keeps my skin very clear, and refreshed.
Too Faced Sweet Peach: I have gotten a lot of eyeshadow pallets recently, and this one is my absolute FAVORITE! First of all, it smells AMAZING. It has such a subtle peach scent, it makes me want summer so badddd. Moving on. This pallet has a perfect combination of mattes, transition shades, shimmer shades, and a couple fun pops of color. I love that I can use all these shades to get one look, and I don't have to reach for another pallet. It has everything I am looking for all in one! It is limited edition, so I definitely recommend getting your hands on it before it's gone.
Perfect amount of neutral, and fun shades. Honestly it's amazing.
Kylie Lip Kits: This is probably my most controversial product that I absolutely love. I have seen a lot of mixed reviews about the lip kits, but I seriously LOVE them. I don't care what anybody says, this formula is unlike anything I've ever used before. I put it on one time, can go out to eat, get drinks, and I never have to touch up the product. The color is so pigmented, and looks stunning. The brush is the perfect size to swipe on the product effortlessly. My two favorite lip kit colors are Ginger, and Exposed. They are the perfect nude shades to wear with anything! I will definitely re-purchase once these are gone.
Tarte Shape Tape: When it comes to concealer, I have a hard time finding one that I love. I like the Maybelline Age Rewind, but I LOVE the Tarte Shape Tape! It is creamy, thick, and goes on like a dream. It does not feel too heavy on the face, and it lasts the entire day. I always apply this with a damp beauty blender, and it looks flawless! Tarte has definitely set the bar extremely high with this product!
Kat Von D Shade & Light Pallet Contour Pallet: OH MY GOODNESS this is probably my favorite product of them all. This pallet is AMAZING. It sets your under-eye like a dream, and gives you an effortless contour look. The product is so creamy, and blends out effortlessly. You truly cannot mess up this product. I wear this every single day, and will be purchasing another one, because I cannot live without this. Seriously people buy it!
I have had this for months, and still have a ton of product left. That definitely makes the price tag worth it!
