March Madness
And I'm not just talking basketball (well maybe a little)!
Did you guys fill out a bracket? Me & John are currently betting to see who wins between the two of us. Last year I won, and lets just say it's not looking good for me this year. I had Arizona winning, he had Kansas. We both were wrong.
But in all honesty, this month was CRAZY busy, and I loved every bit of it!
For St. Patricks day I had a work party that me & John went to, and it was so much fun. I mean how can you turn down free food, and alcohol. The party was at River Roast, which is a huge restaurant located right on the river. This was perfect, because we could see the river being dyed GREEN. As long as I have lived in the Chicagoland area, I have never seen the river green for St. Patricks Day, so that was really cool!
Have I mentioned how much I love this city? I mean come on.
After the work party we met up with some of our friends at Lizzie Mcneill's. I had never been there before, but it was also right on the river. It was a lot of fun, and I would definitely go back when it's warmer out!
Oswego takes on Chicago (LOL)
SISTER SISTER
Not Irish, but we pulled it off for the day
The next weekend two of my very best friends from college visited from Des Moines, and let me tell you I was so excited! It's sad to go from hanging out with people almost every day, to only once or twice a year! Damn distance!
We spent the weekend hanging out, eating good food, and consuming a ton of yummy drinks.
I mean seriously, they're so cute!
Also.. my sister ordered this, and I still can't believe it's a drink, but honestly it was AMAZING. You can find this at Public House! It was somehow only $14, when a tiny mixed drink there is $10? I'm not complaining though.
Now we are at the end of March, and these two faces are gearing up for the big move in together! Definitely more details to come on that. :)
HAPPY SPRING EVERYBODY! (Finally)
