Fashion Food Friday

HELLO EVERYBODY!

It's Fri-YAY, and it's also my TWENTY-FOURTH BIRTHDAY! Time to celebrate!

"Fashion Food Friday" is definitely a post I want to try to do a few Fridays a month. My last "FFF" was so fun to write, so you will be seeing way more of these. :)

This time around I want to start with the food, because this place is too good to wait! Living in Chicago there are a million and one places to go and get food, but since moving here I have been on the hunt to find the best chicken wings. I have found some pretty good places, but I think these wings MIGHT just take the cake (for now anyways). If you're anything like me, and chicken wings are one of your favorite foods you should check out: Jake Melnick's.

Right when we got there I already loved it based on the style, and the feel. It was such a big establishment, but still felt cozy & cute. The day we went it was so nice out, so we took advantage by sitting on one of the patios.

String lights are the way to my heart, and automatic points for the restaurant. Also these picnic benches were so cute to sit at outside!

I am a Mimosa girl through, and through, but this Bloody Mary was INCREDIBLE. I could have easily drank 2.

Now onto the good stuff, the food! I ordered the Garlic Parmesan wings. These were a special of the month, so they don't always have them. My friend Christine got the buffalo wings, so we decided to split a few, and those were equally as good!

I mean.. COME ON

Me, and Christine, also split the Mac & Cheese, and I am pretty sure that's what dreams are made of. Look at that cheesy goodness.

If you're in the River North area definitely check this place out, it's amazing. My other friends got burgers, those also looked incredible. I will for sure be going back!

Now onto a little fashion! Since Spring has officially made its way to Chicago, I thought I'd share some of my favorite Spring styles, FLORALS & FLATS. Since we are stuck in boots, and sweaters, ALL Winter, I love when I can finally break out some fun styles.

Here are some of my favorite looks so far!

I love how this shirt can be paired with so many different kinds of shoes!

Espadrilles are one of my favorite styles this Spring! It adds a little something to a simple shoe.

Florals are everything to me, I love how feminine they are!

I think I'm going to wear this tonight for my Birthday dinner with John. Already in love with it.

Paired with a pink lipstick, and some neutral flats.. oh my goodness. OBSESSED.

I love how many different styles you can put together with a couple simple, staple, pieces! You can get items like this from almost everywhere, and then make them your own!

Also MAJOR side note... have any of you binge watched 13 Reasons Why? I watched the entire series in 3 days, and was obsessed. I think overall it has a lot of important messages, and I hope that people continue to watch & feel moved. I just started the book, and I cannot wait to compare the two!
